When looking to gain some much needed exposure for your blog one thing you can do is enter blog contests. This is a method many people overlook and as well as getting exposure you could win some great prizes.

1. Dont be shy enter them all.
Entering a lot of contests can get you a lot of exposure so enter them all.
2. Visit the other entrants.
Look at the other entries and visit their blogs and leave them some comments many will give yours a look.
3. Link to contests.
Don’t link to all of them but the more popular ones i would as this further increases your exposure.
4. Dish the dirt.
If you win any of the contests and the owner does not give you your prize do not be afraid to write a blog post about it warning others about entering further contest by the blogger. Also contact all the other entrants and tell them. This will gain you a lot of brownie points with other bloggers.

It’s funny. i used to think the con tests were just plain silly, and a lot were when blogging first hit, but NOW, we see them just getting better and better and they really do give some excellent exposure.
