1. Pick The Topic Wisely
Great bloggers can make anything sound good, so dont make it hard for you? make sure to choose a subject you know and love. This will then compliment your blogging style and get people interested in reading.
2. Learn About Your Chosen Topic
Swot up on your selected subject everyday. Look what your competitiors are writting and improve on it.
3. Killer Headlines Rock
This is by far the number main priority of your post, killer headlines that grab your readers attention and make them want to read. I found a great blog with 7 Surefire Headlines That Work check it out.
4. Provide The Killer Content
You said it with your killer headline now provide the content! Dont write killer headlines and then post boring copy and paste content this is a real no no and visitors will not return. Remeber number 2 STUDY your subject!
5. Bulletin Points Work
Using bulletin points at key points during your post is what people like it gives them a reference point to come back to.
6. Add Images To Your Posts
Plain blogs can also be a turn off. Add images to your posts making sure they are relative to your subject. Dont talk about cars and post a picture of a bike.
7. Its Your Opinion That Counts
People come and read a blog to see what other peoples opinions of things are. If they simple information they would go get a book out of the library. Strong opinions on your chosen subject will keep them interested.
8. Believe It Or Not Lists Work
This is one of the better tried and tested methods that works. Post some Top 10 lists people like these as they are easy and quick to read.
9. Ruffle The Readers
Challenge what your readers believe in push them to there limits this will get them interested. Start your blog with a challenge and make them keep reading.
10. Dont Carry On And On
Dont over do the post say your piece and leave it at that. (unlike this post)
